The Rural Parenting Action Network (RPAN)

Rural folks have unique solutions to parenting challenges, but struggle to find the resources to share their stories within or beyond their community and connect with other great folks doing the work. In response to that, the Center on Rural Parenting created the Rural Parenting Action Network (RPAN) to build a strong support network to connect rural community members, local leaders, professional communicators and health advocates and providers to align messaging, foster interstate collaboration and share resources across Illinois and Missouri.

Are you a community leader or organization serving rural communities in Illinois or Missouri?

Join the Rural Parenting Action Network (RPAN) on the Missouri Rural Health Association (MRHA) MRHA Connect Tool today.

Please note: We use an expansive definition of parenting to include folks who are in active caregiving roles. Additionally, we understand that although not everyone chooses to engage in an individual parenting journey, we share the universal experience of childhood and are all impacted by the parenting processes and systems in our communities.

All are welcome to lend their voice, experiences and opinions on parenting in their communities.
